ChiroSport Specialists of Dallas is excited to announce the addition of Dr. Chris Miller D.C. to our staff!

Dr. Chris B. Miller D.C., A.R.T., TPI-M3

 

Dr. Chris Miller D.C., received his doctorate of Chiropractic in 2014 from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Port Orange, Florida, graduating Magna Cum Laude.  While earning his Doctorate, he became full body certified in Active Release Technique (ART), a highly specialized method of treating muscles, tendons, ligaments, and fascia.  He also holds certifications from the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) Level 3 Medical, which is the highest level TPI offers, as well as Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA), Functional and Kinetic Treatment with Rehab (FAKTR), Graston Technique, Sports Elective, Flexion/Distraction Technique, and is maintains Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Health Care Providers.

 

Before moving to Florida and eventually Texas, Dr. Miller was raised in Fenton, Michigan. He was active in junior golf, having played on top golf courses all over the state of Michigan.  He won a High School State Golf Championship and received All State in Academics.  His undergraduate studies were completed at Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Michigan, receiving a Bachelor’s of Science in Biomedical Science with a minor in Chemistry.  Dr. Miller is still involved in competitive golf, having competed in Michigan State Amateur Events, West Michigan Golf Tournaments and Florida Amateur Tournaments, including a semi-final finish in the 2011 West Michigan Amateur Match play and qualifying for the Florida State Match Play in 2014.  Chris enjoys reading research and blogging, including topics like golf psychology, golf performance and biomechanics, nutrition and fitness. He enjoys working out, playing golf and tennis. He also enjoys spending time with his significant other Danielle Caverly, who works as a Registered Nurse.   They currently live in Addison.

 

Dr. Miller became familiar with the benefits of Chiropractic at a young age, including the benefits of increasing athletic performance and decreasing injuries. With a background in manual therapy, sports injuries, biomechanics and movement, he treats his patients with a functional viewpoint in order to facilitate reaching their health and fitness goals.
